Mission and Vision statements

Now I need to explain what the purpose of this blog will be. First, I will talk about what my mission statement will be for my blog. Now a mission statement for any organization or entity should tell those who work for the organization or who enter it what are you about and more specifically what do you do? So what will my blog be about? Since I am currently in a Master's level program and I am enrolled in a healthcare management course, my mission will be to discuss areas that deal with Healthcare Leadership and Management.

Next up is my vision statement. A vision statement of an organization should inform your employees and visitors where you plan to go with the company or entity. Many times a company's vision can take years to accomplish others only months. As I only have months left in my course for my blog, I will attempt to make my posts conicide with the related course work for discussed during class. So every two weeks, I will post about discussions from my classmates and my instructor. My first post here is directly related to my class. Our discussion centered around Mission and Vision statements and the values and beliefs within an organization. I will attempt to relate this towards a healthcare environment, however, I may at times relate our discussions towards other organizations, which healthcare organizations may attempt to exemplify.

Now my values and beliefs are many. I will not provide a detailed discription of them. I will let my writings guide you along as to what they are. I feel this will allow you to know me better and will provide you with an entertaining ride along the way.
